From qin style (Fuxi, Zhongni, Shennong, Luoxia), to inscription (qin name, colophon, collector's seal), to rare wood selection (300-year-old cedar, paulownia top, catalpa bottom), every detail is decided by you. We can even use the same 300-year-old ancient wood to simultaneously craft your guqin and a guqin table, achieving wood fiber resonance, letting time and melody echo together.

You can also send us your preferred wood (old cedar, paulownia, catalpa), and we will craft it exclusively for you. With nearly thirty years of guqin-making heritage, each Sundayou guqin undergoes hundreds of tuning tests, ensuring deep open strings, clear harmonics, and warm stopped tones. Origin of Ancient Wood

Selected natural old cedar over 300 years old, sourced from beams of ancient residences or temple structures from the Ming and Qing dynasties. After centuries of natural drying, the wood has reached peak stability, fiber structure fully relaxed, resonance performance meeting guqin-grade standards. Each piece of ancient wood comes with traceable year certification and source records, accompanied by an exclusive collection certificate.

Sympathetic Resonance Principle

When you custom order a guqin, we use different parts of the same ancient wood — the body uses the most uniformly grained heartwood. Identical wood density, same year, same natural drying history, giving the guqin and table an exceptionally excellent natural frequency (approx. 75-110Hz), creating a physical "acoustic resonance."
